Raw Chocolate Recipe Below
Casandra decided to take on a huge project this week. Yardley Inn hosted a Women’s Empowerment Retreat, and asked her to cater some raw food meals for the event. She accepted for three different meals, and so we’ve had a house full of extra food. We have all been busy creating raw food dishes, especially Casandra. The meals went over very well, and she got a lot of compliments. Conner and Kadan helped serve. Some people asked her about catering in the future. Monday I gave my presentation for Carol Tuttle’s Manifesting More Money Boot Camp up in Salt Lake. I practiced on the family for family home evening and they gave me feedback. I spoke for 45 minutes and had many stories and illustrations. I took Kadan and we made a day of it. Afterward I dropped him off at Grandma Westra’s house while I went on a mountain run, and then we stopped by and bought him a new bike. He has been saving for a larger one. He saved $60, and I said I would help with the rest. The weather was beautiful and I reveled in the mountain run up Broad’s Fork trail, which is the best trail in the world. The energies and the connection I feel when mountain running truly fill my soul! I felt very energetic after speaking, and I ran very hard. I was running on frozen ground up there, but stayed warm with my exercise. Then we stopped by the Good Earth to buy our dinner, and enjoyed visiting on the way home. Last Saturday evening we had our Colloquium group discussing Pride and Prejudice. We met at Sami’s Café and had a great time. These are the parents in the home school group, but one teenage girl came and we may take Conner next time. I brought some raw chocolate for dessert for everyone to try, and most of them loved it! Get the recipe from: Raw Chocolate Fudge Conner gave a talk on Gratitude last Sunday, and did very well. Then on Tuesday all the older boys gave their presentations for the Statesmanship Club in Richfield. So we have just been a speaking family this week. Our involvement with these home school groups and related activities really keeps us active and learning. Last night we had a Harvest Party with the Sanpete home schoolers, and had a super time. We had a potluck dinner, and played games and had contests, and did family dancing. We had about 60 people there, and the Manti Legion Hall was packed. Kadan and I opened a Clickbank account for him and he will be typing up more recipes that I can use as articles, and he will use his affiliate link and be able to earn money like Conner is. I've read John's first book, and went to his house for a personal mind travel, which helped me with a lifelong weakness. Here is how Bonny describes her new book. This book is sure to be controversial, as she describes what cherubs actually look like, and describes the Garden of Eden, Noah, and the Last Supper!
