Greetings all. Last night Kadan and Corin watched the Buckminster Fuller
Video with me again. I took more notes about synergy, creation,
humanity, and the structure of the universe. Buckminster was an
incredible man and he did so much. Tonight Casandra and Conner and I
will go to Ephraim for the colloquium discussion and get together. The
book for this month is Laddie, by Gene Stratton Porter, an author we
recommend to everyone.
Monday Karen Everitt came over and we worked on web and marketing stuff
for a couple hours. Her site is

That night we had our family home evening on service and purity and
keeping ourselves clean.
Sunday night I did a father’s interview with Conner and we wrestled
afterward. My ribs were bruised again and have been hurting all this
week.
Many of our family have been sick this week, but Corin got it the
hardest. But he is OK now. I experienced more intestinal pain this week
and decided not to try and wait for my gastroenterology appointment on
January 18. So I called around and have an appointment tomorrow to get a
referral to a doctor in Utah Valley who will take me earlier.
I also went to someone local here for a “foot zoning” on Wednesday and
on Friday I went down to Richfield to see a Chiropractor. He did some
“emotional work” with me and that has seemed to help somewhat also. I’ve
also been using Redmond Clay internally and that seems to be helping.
I’ve read Jordan Rubin’s book about digestive health and have been using
many of his principles.
Casandra has been planning for the Ward Christmas Party next week on
December 6th. We made up sign up sheets and sent them around last week
in church.
Tuesday we had our first big snowstorm and the boys went outside a lot
in the cold sledding. I have to train the older boys to shovel the
driveway FIRST before doing the sledding.
So it’s been a little different week for us, but as our little sage
Corin says, “Everything happens for a reason!” Yes, we can learn from
the difficult times also, and of course probably learn even more than
when things are going so smoothly.
